Walt Disney reportedly had been preparing to film the 5th and 6th of the bestselling series Pirates of the Caribbean. However, the main character, Johnny Depp is reportedly still not signed the contract.
Quoted from 'The Wrap', a source of Disney said that the agreement was nearing a deal with Depp, but Depp still has not signed and will see the first public response to the current sequel (On Stranger Tides).
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer also said the same thing to the media, that he was working on the script for the fifth film but will not be successful without Depp.
"We hope, if this one goes well, Depp would be willing to come back and play the character again. But it depends of the manuscript. Always so. He (Depp) does not want to disappoint his audience ".
